We love to empower women at Style Salute, so you can imagine our excitement when we discovered that one of our favorite female rock stars, Gwen Steffani, is now the new face of a spectacular initiative from Urban Decay called the Ultriaviolet Edge. The new initiative will feature one product—a limited-edition Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Enigma ($20) that when purchased, 100% percent of proceeds will be donated to “support a variety of organizations that are doing incredible things to empower women wordwide.”
You read that right, 100% of the proceeds of your $20 purchase will be donated to Ultraviolet Edge, which supports organizations that address inequalities in a wide range of communities – from Northern Uganda to New York City – not to mention, you’ll be getting 24-hour, crease-free eye shadow.
